ACHIEVING PROACTIVE GROWTH

Projects

We hope and believe that the children of today, equipped with strong Jewish identities, will be prepared to use their decisions to shape the future of the Jewish communities of the coming generations. Our foundation wants to strengthen Jewish life by involving and supporting communities as partners.

THE JEWISH PROGRAM OF THE JEWISH FUTURE FOUNDATION

tell into the ears of your son and your son’s son!

None of the other mitzvot can be equated to the study of Torah. Rather, the study of Torah can be equated to all the mitzvot,

Within the framework of non-formal education, the aim of our foundation is to help introduce the basics of the Jewish religion, Jewish culture and identity, as well as the past, present and future of Hungarian Jewry to all who are interested. The importance of learning and the duty to educate is particularly emphasized in the Jewish religion, so we too would like to be involved to some extent, through our members and volunteers.

The constant asking of questions, the multiple possibilities of interpreting the rules, only a couple of the essential parts of Jewish education, and the other is the importance of learning itself, and the cultural capital thus gained, which becomes useful in any and all areas of life.

In addition to Jewish educational institutions, where Judaism, religion, Jewish history, and philosophy are an integral part of the curriculum, Jewish religious education is available in elementary schools, Torah Talmud in synagogues, and colorful, diverse educational programs through foundations and youth organizations. The issue of education for Jewish traditions often arises in families, even if the parents did not receive Jewish education, did not attend synagogues regularly, and did not practice their religion. Teaching that begins in early childhood, in whatever form, helps the chain of tradition, and thus the survival of our communities.

Respecting and following our traditions, Jewish education is a fundamental value that is the key to the future survival and development of our communities.

Our foundation provides downloadable educational materials, organizes online classes on the basics of Jewish religion, festive customs for children and adults.

THE JEWISH PROGRAM OF THE JEWISH FUTURE

Community organization, community building

As members of a community, we can see each other as inspiration and an example to follow.

By uniting the strength of our communities, using it, our strength will multiply and we will also be able to perform tasks that we alone would otherwise be unable to do. Our goal is to build communities, strengthen existing ones, strengthen our relationships, as the food we eat together is more delicious.

We need to become team players, as we are stronger and more creative together. As members of a good team, we can only be more effective.

Just as when doing a mitzva, its power and worth is multiplied when carried out by a community.

We are confident that everyone will find a way they can help and serve their communities, in a way that is best suited for them.

With empathy and support, we can take serious steps in forging our community. It is essential to recognize the values of individuals, to respect each other, as this will unite people of diverse backgrounds, different habits into a strong, productive and community that provides a place for all.

(Help yourself, and G-d will help you, in the aspect of a community this can be interpreted as; by helping others, you also help yourself)

Our communities, and it’s members can have a fantastic influence on one another, one needs to teach and learn.

We want to be a contributing part, to follow how a cohesive and caring community is created and strengthened.

It is up to us to succeed together.
